Castroville Pottery is located in the heart of Castroville’s historic district at 1215 Fiorella Street on the corner of Fiorella and Paris streets. These historic buildings and barn have been converted into a complete potter’s studio and artist gallery. The gallery is open from 10:00am to 4:00pm, Monday through Friday, and from 11:00am to 5:00pm on Saturday and Sunday. The gallery features one of a kind handmade pottery, majolica, raku, stoneware, soaps and jewelry. All are of exceptional quality made by artisans from across south Texas. Our products include 4 exceptional dinner ware lines that are made to order 1 piece at a time on the wheel. Then they are glazed with glazes made in our studio. A lovely brick patio surrounds the gallery where art exhibits are held featuring student work and guest artists such as Dale Neese, John Nelson, Tim Kelley, Brad Lum, Denise Martin, Bertie Smith, Charles Haile, JoAnna Admundson and noted stone sculptor Rachman Ullmer. |
